Terms of Service

Last updated: May 19, 2026

Please read carefully. By creating an account or using ApplyPath, you agree to these terms. Key points: service access can be suspended or terminated at any time, and account sharing is strictly prohibited.

1. Acceptance of terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ApplyPath (the "Service"). By registering for an account, starting a free trial, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use ApplyPath. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. Free trial

New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with access to all features. No credit card is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial period, access to paid features will be suspended unless you have purchased a lifetime licence. We reserve the right to modify or end free trial offerings at any time.

4. Lifetime licence

A lifetime licence is a one-time purchase that grants you ongoing access to ApplyPath and all future feature updates, subject to these Terms. "Lifetime" refers to the operational lifetime of the Service, not your personal lifetime. We will provide at least 12 months' notice before discontinuing the Service entirely.

All purchases are final. We do not offer refunds except where required by applicable consumer protection law.

5. Account sharing is prohibited

Your account is for your personal use only. Sharing your account credentials with any other person is strictly prohibited. Specifically:

  • You may not share your login details, session tokens, or any means of access with another person.
  • You may not allow multiple individuals to use a single account, whether simultaneously or sequentially.
  • You may not resell, sublicence, or transfer access to your account or lifetime licence to any third party.

We actively monitor for patterns consistent with account sharing. Accounts found to be shared may be suspended or permanently terminated without notice and without refund.

6. Suspension and termination of service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to ApplyPath at any time and for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • Violation of any provision of these Terms.
  • Account sharing or abuse of the Service.
  • Behaviour that threatens the security, integrity, or availability of the Service or its users.
  • Non-payment of amounts owed (where applicable).
  • Any reason we deem necessary at our sole discretion, with or without prior notice.

Where suspension or termination is due to a suspected Terms violation, we will typically attempt to notify you via email before or promptly after taking action. However, we are not obligated to do so.

If your account is terminated for a material breach of these Terms (such as account sharing), no refund will be issued. If termination is at our discretion for reasons unrelated to a breach on your part, we will issue a pro-rata refund of any unused, unexpired licence value at our reasonable determination.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use ApplyPath to:

  • Upload content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes the rights of others.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service by automated means.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.

8. Intellectual property

All content, code, and design of ApplyPath is the property of its operators. You retain ownership of the resume files and job descriptions you upload. By uploading content, you grant us a limited licence to process that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that fit scores and analysis results will be accurate or suitable for any particular purpose. Resume scoring and analysis is provided for informational purposes only.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ApplyPath and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email and by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of any change constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
